Notes About Domain Names & Company Names:
- I prefer .com domain names, but you can also use .net.
- Make sure you get domain privacy (it costs an extra $2). It protects your contact information from spammers.
- If you want to test a bunch of different websites, you can buy a generic domain like, info.com (it’s not available). Then you can set up subdomains like diets.info.com and computers.info.com. It’s very easy to set this up using your host - which we’ll talk about in the next video.
- Your company name should be at least slightly related to your subject. If it’s not, you’re going to have to create a super strong brand name and identity - Google, Yahoo, Apple, etc.
