I have a good dentist in Pablodo and recommend using dentist in richer neighborhoods. Dude becareful there are 2 prices here GRINGO PRICES and PISA prices. Which means gringo and Colombian prices. Tought to find honest people here in Medellin as gringos are seen as all being rich. Some see gringos as a bigger pay day just the way it works here, not all but alot! Try to do your research and ask other gringos where they had there dental wok. I has one dentist quote me 1500 bucks and anothe 800 bucks so you see what I mean with pricing. Find a dentist through a recommendation of other gringos. Dental work and plastic surgery are huge here and excellent and around 1/3 the price of America. I have a lot of trust in the dentist and doctors here the medical care here is pretty darn good! Never had any problem with dental care here and tons in states with bad crown cheap materials xxx, dental care here in Medellin is really really good! best of luck with your dental!

I live here in Medellin and am moving out too much crime and low lifes. Medellin is a nice place to visit and tear up as far as parting and girls go zand I meand bad girls. I do not recommend liviung here as you will always be a gringo and a mark for crime. Think of being a gringo as a walking bullseye with all the archers trying to hit the bullseye and sooner or later they will. There is always some street punk Colombian lurking in the corner and crevis like roaches waiting to robbing you like a crumb snatching cocakroach. The people here are very hard to trust and the girls are mostly looking for money from gringos. Most gringos are with girls call prepagos which is like a prepaid girlfriend. Basically your own personal Charlie Sheen prostitute 24 7 and long as the money keeps rolling. Living here is tough “AS A GRINGO” and most gringos are sucked in by nice weather and woman. As far as wonan here in Colombia there are the worse as a whole, not all ! Tons of players and liers most have very little morals with tons of the Colombian woman selling sex like buying a gallon of milk in the USA. Over 200 houses of prositution in Centro Medellin and all leagal, that says enough! The weather is over rated always raining in Medellin. The people can not be trusted as they are always scamming gringos for money and robbing like Robin Hood. The mind set of many in Colombia is if the opportunity presents it self it is my right to rob you as a Colombia told me some time ago. As Stan Lee the man would say from Mavel comics, “NUFF SAID” !!!

Here now had a terrible time. People are rude and unfriendly. Land is beautiful like lucerne Switzerland or parts of Oregon but the city sux, all the guys have rat tails and are super racist. Had a much better time.in Santa marta, cartegena, and esp panama. This city blows and don’t trust anyone who speaks English and wants to be your friend and show you around. Everyone’s a janitor hustler from age 1 to 100…

I was born in Colombia and lived there until I was 17 yrs old. We moved to Boston 20 years ago because of all the violence. While living here I have visited most states and countries in Europe, South America, australia, and Asia.
I have been offered drugs in dusseldorf, London, Barcelona, Paris, Sydney, rio, Sao Paulo, buenos aires, new York, Chicago, san francisco, L.A just to name a few and also 5 min where I live in Boston you can find prostitutes and drugs any time of the day.
I had recently visited Medellin and I was impressed by the development and quality of life of Colombia. It has changed dramatically. No wonder they are rated as the happiest people in the planet.
For those who are looking experiences in ecoturism, gastronomy, people, language and safe cities to visit, it is definitely the right place to visit, but if you are looking for prostitution and drugs you have plenty of other countries. Even right here in the USA and Literarily all over the world including beautiful and safe switzerland…
Don’t go to colombia and spoil all the work that the government and the people are trying so hard to eradicate trying to change the image of Colombia. To the guys who are encouraging others to go to colombia and get involved in illicit drugs, you wouldn’t invite people to your backyard and neighborhoods to do the same. Don’t do it with the others and specially with Colombia it has been decades of violence. Colombia is gaining momentum as one of the safest Latin American countries for foreign investment so once again, please don’t spoil it!
