Dude, I love it. Great video! Was it just me sitting here all lazy on my couch thinking that it looked like it was downhill the whole way? I mean, it’s like almost straight down when i run my finger across the route on my globe so… anyway, I totally want to do that ride on my motorcycle with some buddies. The views look incredible.

Matt –

Washington feels all downhill. Oregon isn’t too bad – only a couple climbs. But Northern California is hilly as crap. Some big climbs and mostly rolling hills that sap your energy.

Going north to south is definitely the best because of wind which makes all the difference in the world.

Happy Bday. Clays face swelled up so bad. And why was he talking like Christopher Walken?

I enjoyed that, at no point in this video, did I see a laptop make an appearance. This chronicles the lost art of “doing things”, which has slowly been replaced online by the new fad of “talking about doing things”.

Favorite moment: hitchiking outside corrections facility, and Clay’s spontaneous Asian transformation.

Legitimately impressive feat gents, and the video does it justice.

If I’d known about your trip I might have been standing on the side of the 101 in Brookings, Oregon with a red plastic cup of beer or two to hand off as you pedaled by.

Hey Derek! This video is awesome!

Im from Australia and planning to ride the trail around July/August next year. I’m curious to know how long it took you to cover the hole trail?

Congrats mate, this is one of those experiences to tell the grandkids about :)

Benko, July to August is the perfect time! It took us about 3 1/2 weeks. We had about 3 rest days total and did about 80 miles a day. Hope that helps.

If I did it again, I’d go slower I think. It’s so beautiful out there.

I think I’m going to start watching the bike tour video every morning while I eat breakfast for my daily inspiration. I’ll do it while I eat breakfast in order to MULTITASK, save TIME, and DO MORE.
