I love the title of this post too much to worry about the connotations it might have.
Currently, I am one week into a two week backpacking trip in Yosemite with one of my friends.
The purpose of the trip is not to cover miles, but to find some good spots, hang-out, read, and enjoy simple living for two weeks. We have no real agenda besides coming back out of the wilderness on or around June 29th.
I’m pretty sure we’ll both make it out alive, but that’s not a guarantee. We’re prepared, but not to the point of excess. We’re trying to ditch the creature comforts of the modern world for a bit, and see what benefits, if any, we might find.
Expect a whole slew of articles related to the trip when I get back. I’ll have a lot of time to write - so no excuses.
